Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Manie Typeface by Pornmanie Snidvongs Manie typeface is a personal project aiming to explore the role of serif typefaces today. San-serif typefaces are widely used throughout various platforms from print to digital due to their minimalistic features. The goal of this project was to design a serif typeface that is atypical as well as highly functional in various applications to honour the personality of serif typefaces and share the importance of serif typeface evolution. The friendly and simple-looking san-serif typefaces inspire Manie but at the same time, Manie celebrates the intricacy and the details of a serif typeface.
