The trio thrives in the harshness of winter with for their remarkable characteristics. Together they embody grit, perseverance, and resilience representing the ideal characteristics of the literati in Chinese culture. The key communication visuals are composed of ikebana (Japanese floral arrangement) of the three plants. The charm and personas of the three plants are well illustrated this way.
